On casting Tendril, you summon a single, robust vine that bursts forth from a point on the ground within range. This vine lashes out at a creature you choose that you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be pulled up to 20 feet directly toward the vine and be knocked prone in a space within 5 feet of it.

At the start of each of your turns while you maintain concentration on this spell, you can cause the vine to reach for another target or attempt to pull the same creature again, provided it is within the vine’s reach.

This spell embodies the primal force of nature, using the earth’s flora as a means to control the battlefield, disrupt enemy lines, and position foes within reach of your allies’ attacks. Binding Tendril offers a versatile tool for druids and rangers, allowing them to manipulate the terrain with living plants that heed their call.
