Beneath the tumultuous waves and shadowed depths of the ocean, the Merrow lurks as a brutish and formidable creature. Resembling a twisted and savage version of their more graceful kin, the Merfolk, the Merrow embody the raw power and ferocity of the underwater realms they call home.

Merrow possess a hulking, muscular form, standing taller and bulkier than their Merfolk counterparts. Their skin is a sickly green or gray hue, often covered in algae and barnacles, camouflaging them amidst the murky depths. Their heads are adorned with a wild shock of matted hair, and their eyes gleam with a feral hunger.

As predators of the deep, Merrow are fearsome warriors. They possess sharp teeth and claws, capable of rending through flesh and armor alike. Their muscular tails propel them through the water with surprising speed, and they are capable of leaping out of the water to ambush unwary prey or foes.

Unlike their more civilized Merfolk brethren, Merrow are driven by primal instincts and aggression. They form loose tribal communities and are often found dwelling in submerged caves or ancient shipwrecks. They are known to be territorial and aggressive, engaging in fierce battles with rival tribes or anything that dares to encroach upon their domains.

Merrow possess an affinity for the creatures of the deep, often taming and commanding sea beasts to aid them in battle. They may ride giant sharks or employ other marine creatures as allies, leveraging the power of their watery environment to their advantage. This bond with sea creatures adds an additional layer of danger when facing the ferocity of a Merrow in combat.
