Shield

A defensive piece of equipment used in combat to block or deflect attacks. Shields come in various shapes and sizes, including round, kite-shaped, and rectangular. They are typically made of wood or metal and are held in one hand, allowing the wielder to use it to absorb blows, arrows, or spells. Shields provide additional protection in battle, enhancing a character’s Armor Class (AC) and helping them avoid taking damage.
