Great Weapon Champion

Great Weapon Champion

Prerequisite: Proficiency with a weapon that has the two-handed or versatile property

You've mastered the art of harnessing the heft of your weapon, using its mass to make your strikes even more potent. You gain the following benefits when using a weapon you are proficient with that has the two-handed or versatile property:

  • When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a two-handed or versatile weapon, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2.
  • On your turn, when you score a critical hit with a melee weapon or reduce a creature to 0 hit points with one, you can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action.
  • Your powerful build allows you to move an opponent. If you hit a creature with an opportunity attack when wielding a two-handed or versatile weapon, you can choose to push the target up to 10 feet away from you in a straight line.
  • Increase the damage die size of your two-handed or versatile weapon by one step (for example, a d10 becomes a d12).

This feat emphasizes the powerful impact great weapons can have, offering more control over damage output and battlefield positioning.
