Prerequisite: The ability to cast at least one spell
Your deep understanding of spellcasting allows you to extend your reach and accuracy when casting spells that require attack rolls. Here are the benefits of this feat:
- When you cast a spell that requires a ranged attack roll, its range is doubled.
- Your spells that require an attack roll can penetrate the defenses of a target with cover. Half cover and three-quarters cover provide no benefit against your spell attacks.
- You learn one cantrip that requires an attack roll, chosen from the spell list of a class you can already cast spells from. The chosen cantrip uses the spellcasting ability modifier of that class.
The Arcane Marksman feat is designed for those who specialize in long-range spell attacks, offering both increased range and the ability to bypass cover.
